As well a group of founding volunteers, a group of the Order of Malta and the Parish of San Juan Bosco where operations initiated.
During 2011, La Casita focused its programs toward strengthening women’s dignity.
Later, in 2012, La Casita established the Initiative 1-2-3: Work, Human Formation and Family.
Afterwards, in 2015, La Casita became an independent Foundation obtaining its 501(c)3 nonprofit status.
